I rank BP right up there with Shell.
In my humble opinion BP, Shell and Chevron are the best gasoline brands.
Next would be Mobil, Marathon and Phillip's.

I only use discount gas if we are out of town and the preferred brands are not available, and even then I use regular because nobody ever buys premium at a discount gas station and the last 3 times I bought premium at a discount gas station it was stale and the truck ran like crap.

I just redid the seal on my tranfer case last week and went with a slightly heavier weight gear lube for noise reduction and it made a huge difference. If it is the cover leaking do it the right way, its easy and doesn't take that long. Here is my post https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=27159

I get 16 in the city and 18 on the highway. I mainly use Quick Trip as their gas it Top Tier rated and even approved by BMW.

I use BP occasionally, mostly Shell.

My reason is that, around here anyway, BP charges 30 cents more per gallon for premium than regular (20 cents more than mid grade) and the Shells charge only 20 to 24 cents more per gallon.

I feel that BP is just bending me over since I have to use premium.

Oh, and just to add - I am currently running Firestone AT Destination 255/70/16s on Angus and my mileage has not changed.

I use Hess and I love it. I avoid Citgo because of people I know had water in their gas and Shell is too exspensive for me and Mobile/Exxon are out of the way for me.
