Never tried the truck plugs, but I do have plain champion copper plugs. Never had a problem with them.

 

I've been running the Autolite version of them. I didn't really notice any difference in my '95, but the engine was so ragged out, that may have been a factor.
I have another set I'm going to put in the '97 in the next week or so.
