Default ODB2 to Bluetooth adapter

Also, I am fan of the bluetooth OBDII readers.
First, I ordered an ODB2 to Bluetooth adapter and hooked it up. Simply pair it to your Android device (apple is more complicated) like any other Bluetooth device. I did have to restart my phone before it'd pair but my tablet paired right away. This is the one I bought:
MINI ELM327 Interface Viecar 2.0 OBD2 Bluetooth Auto Diagnostic Scanner Support Android/Windows

Bluetooth interface is highly customizable and will show TONS of parameters with the ISF ECU. I have gauges showing 0-60, 1/4 mile, speed (from ECU or GPS), Engine speed, torque, horsepower, afm, voltages, etc. It'll also allow you to see and clear codes off the ECU. That alone was my excuse to buy it to the wife! There are different themes to the gauges, with infinite gauge layouts you can use.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone with an extra $15 lying around. The app is $4.99 and the device is $9.99.It's a great cheap monitoring tool that I'm looking forward to using in autocross videos. It'll do logging and everything that the more expensive tools will do for much less money. The options I mentioned are just a few of the monitor able parameters of the ECU. I'm in no way affiliated with this but I'm having a blast trying out this technology!
So far the best I've run is a 5.0 0-60 (tire spin in the cold).

The Nanocom Evolution from Black Box Solutions seems to be the preferred tool in Norway for discoveries (D1,D2, and now some D3/L3 etc). I'm sure there are plenty of other readers but not sure how many of them can access all the different ECUs and also program them.

Can anyone weigh in on which one of the programming units they prefer ?
Following this thread as I too like these models but lack the funds to buy such a tool. Is there a less expensive tool that has the features of the above diag tools? All the three are around $500

if you want to be able to make program changes instead of reading and clearing codes that is what it will cost.
Thou i have seen the hawkeye in the Eruo and Australian markets for less, Australian dollar is real weak now. there is no weight so shipping shouldn't be an issue.

I have the lynx system and Have used it so far for various things such as key programming and resetting adaptive values for transmission and engine ecu. If you have any particular question I would be more then happy to try some of its capabilities on my D2.

Hi

I second that proposal as it's one of the least expensive of the scanners but does the job.
