Default Coils have no spark

Hello,

Ignition coils on a 2000 DII has no spark? Engine turns over and wants to start, there is good fuel pressure at the fuel rail, new battery and no codes.

Where should I start?

Crank sensor is where I'd start.

Doesn't a failed CKPS also shut off the fuel pump? No spark from either coil? Doesn't make sense that both coils would fail at the same time. Bad ECM?

Josh, where have you been for so long, thought you fell off your island.
When does it happen, all the time, some time?
I would start with a crank sensor, yes it can shut off the fuel pump signal, coil signal or both.
Let us know what you find.

I would suggest the CPS, when it went on mine it did not shut off the fuel pump. Let us know what you find out.
