I’ve had a cold tick caused by a small vacuum leak... check the nipple on the back of the throttle body where the hose from the valve cover goes.

Exhaust gaskets easy fix, take them out, coat both sides with red silicone and allow to skin, put them back in and barely snug down bolts, let cure 24 hrs before tightening.

Manifold Ben, the Y pipe if torqued down correctly should not leak. Exhaust manifolds on everything start to leak as the gaskets wear and stuff gets loose

Both. It might still tick, but it won't be an exhaust leak. This technique also preserves exhaust gaskets inperpetuity. I have never had an exhaust gasket blow out using this technique. The silicone shields the gasket, and the gasket provides the silicone enough substructure to resist blowout.
