Coolant hose question
A massive coolant leak leads me to the hose that Rave lists as 'coolant pump feed hose". It appears that there is a plastic fitting that broke where one of the several hoses come together- it is completely off and from what I can see part of the plastic is still on the hose. All of the pics I see do not clearly show any plastic part inside this hose. I will attach a photo but could not get a clear shot.
I want to make sure I get the correct part even though it seems obvious. Atlantic British show it as PEH000080G, hose- thermostat to water pump. Doesn't seem like just the plastic connector is sold so I need to buy the entire thing.
Is that correct? Anything to replacing it special? I did install the 180 degree thermostat about 50,000 miles ago.

You broke that bit
in the pic, and you will need to replace the complete hose ( PEH000080 ). But there is nothing special about replacing it. If you can replace the thermostat you can do this. There is a good view of this(@ 2:53) and all the hoses here> http://www.roverparts.com/resources/...t-discovery-2/> https://www.lucky8llc.com/products/t...t-to-pump-hose

The quality. The AB part is Genuine LR (that's the G @ the end of the part #) and Britpart is aftermarket. I can't tell you who the vendor is for the genuine @ AB. You could ask them, or call L8 to see if they can get a genuine hose. I can tell you DON'T buy URO Brand hoses ( like $35 @ Rockauto ) total crap. Good Luck!
