Default Coolant leaking...drivers side, rear of engine

Guys, need your input...

I was looking into a coolant leak I have noticed in my truck. Today had it parked on a slight incline due to hill near my house. Just enough incline for the truck to be nose down...this info might be important as I relate the rest of the story.

Ran the truck to pinpoint leak. What I am seeing is that I am leaking coolant from someplace near the drivers side rear of engine. What am I missing? What is in this area that might leak coolant?

I mentioned the incline to rule out radiator or water pump...

Mechanic last week pressure tested and said radiator...but man...I do not see moisture from radiator area...dry as a bone...

...your thoughts?

With the engine cold feel around the throttle body for coolant, that is a common leak area on DII's.
Look around the head gasket, feel around the back of the engine, look with a flashlight and try and pinpoint the leak.
Sounds like your mechanic is going to throw parts at it until he bleeds you dry or fixes it.

Now that I think of it you are probably so on the money...throttle body...bet that's it...I wasn't even thinking about that.

No worries, I wouldn't have let someone change a radiator for me anyways
