Coolant Squeeze Lock Clamps - Fail?

Still can't narrow down the coolant smell although replacing the squeeze clamp on the thermo housing did correct that leak. Yesterday I pushed the system up to 20 PSI and waited. I climbed under the truck to begin an oil change change when I noticed some dripping. Followed it up and found this on a relatively new hose and tube. Constant tension clamps 0, stainless worm drive 2. It may be that age is the problem here, it obviously isn't a design issue since they've been in use for a long time.

I would recommend you replace that entire plastic tube with automatic transmission hose - they get brittle with age and crack, leak. So does the radiator end tank, but that is a little more $.
