Default A couple random leak questions

Wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on a couple random leaks I've noticed recently.

1) recently tightened down the steering box (jacked it up, centered it, snugged the star bolt, tightened the lock nut, etc.). Noticed today that there is a slight leak out of where the bolt goes in. Checked it for tight. (it's tight). I've flushed the steering system, etc..... Any thoughts? Anythng I am missing? Are these just prone to leaking? It didn't leak before I screwed around with it...

2) seems I am getting a little seepage from behind the steering pump pulley.... minor, but annoying... any fixes for this, or is it the beginning of the swan song?

Power steering stop leak.
As you need to add power steering fluid add the kind that has stop leak in it.
Rover power steering pumps are leak prone, they come that way from the factory.

Sounds like a solution to both issues... I'll give it a shot.... I haven't ever used this stuff, but I'll try it out.

Thank you!

Try some Lucas p/s stop leak, works pretty well.
