crazy idea for some lift
I personally wouldn't do it. The reason that half of us get rid of air suspension is due to its unreliability. If you had full air and something went wrong your truck would turn into a low rider. Not what I would like if I was on some trail or even just trying to drive down the street.
I'm not sure I would go whole hog for this either, but I have a buddy that works at a local spring & allignment shop, and he says that they have air bags to fit anybodys coil springs.so I guess it's conceivable that if you were sort of happy with things as they are and just wanted a little more lift " occassionally"...you could put them in and air up for the weekend....
And by the way, Spike ? using the aforementioned cure, would this require 4 pills or just one ? And would it be neccessarry to call your mechanic for lifts lasting more than 4 hours ?

you could pipe the rears together and the fronts together so as to use a single air fitting for each end, a friend of mine did that to a rig of his, he mounted the air fittings inside the back... accessable & out of the way. he trailers a lot and really like the setup.
