Default Crazy little quirk...

Well, my wife followed me the 1,100 ish miles from Albuquerque to here in the SF Bay Area and all went very well. The Check Engine light came on, but it was probably an O2 sensor that was complaining about all the elevation changes. The CE light has now gone off on it's own.

However, the D1 has developed a little quirk. When you turn the headlights on, the dash lights blink and go out. Now, if you play with the switch a little bit the dash lights will come on and stay on... but that can be a hassle.

I'm thinking it's just a dirty switch, but I thought I'd bounce it off you guys to see what you think.

As for the check engine light, it was not the 02's adjusting, they won't code as adjusting to altitude.

if you're mechanical, the headlight switch ***'y is actually easy to remove, disassemble, clean & reinstall.

It's in the rave manual

take off the instrument cluster bezel and measure with a test light if you are getting power from the head light switch or if its the dimmer switch.

Ah... I didn't think about a dirty dimmer switch. Thanks, Rovin.
