Default Creaking noise while turning...

97 Discovery automaticwhich has recently started making a creaking noise while turning and accelerating. If I'm parked and turning the wheel back and forth it makes no noise but say every time I pull onto the street from my driveway it's almost like awalking on a creaky floor sound is about the best wayI candescribe it. Unfortunately I'm going to have to put her in the shop just curious in the meantime if anyone has any suggestions as to what it might be. Thanks!

Do you know if your body mounts or suspension bushings have been replaced? If so maybe they were replaced with early generation graphite which are known to talk to you.

If not any of the bushings then I would suggest you may have one of your front swivels low on oil, how long since you have checked them?

I've only owned it for a little over a year. I haven't done anything with mounts, bushings or swivels. I'll have a looksee although as far as the swivels go, where and how do I go about checking those? Thanks guys.

No most of the swivels have had a gray grease put in at the dealers.

Get a silicon spray and get every bushing you can or spray one side and work
to the next to find which ones it maybe, NO WD-40 as it will mess up rubber bushings.
