I would check compression before swapping a coil, just because it's quick and easy.
Since the plug is new, you will be a able to get a good "read" of it, as in normal or rich.

 

Thoughts.... could this be the culprit?

 

New plug in and cleaned the throttle body... disco runs worse got a cyl 4 misfire code in about 5miles of driving.

I’m stumped...

any of you all know an easy way to reach the coil pack so I can change the #4 wire?

 

That hose from driver's valve cover to air intake looks terrible. The fitting on the valve cover as well.

Removed the IM and installed new coil packs, ignition wires, IM gasket, air filter, and did the PCV mod.

runs great with no codes after 10miles
