Default D2 Radiator

Anything special about them? I have a non sai, I think I've heard someone say the sai trucks have an additional fitting, but from the looks of them, they aren't special. Can anyone chime in?

I'm thinking of putting a better performance radiator in there. The truck runs at 183 on the freeway, 190ish in the city, and I'm not really sure of the "slow trail" temps, but I'm weary of running my truck in low range for 5-9 straight hours and having overheating issues on the trail.

the rad will come with a plug. you have to remove to fit sai. no sai = no need to mess with plug. just install and go

Sooooo, is it open season to just buy a performance one? Or is the OEM radiator sufficient?

I don't want to be 16miles into the Dusy Ershim and have my truck overheat, that would ruin my day.

There is a thread on here where Externet put in a High Performance all Aluminum radiator. Appears to be fine, but he also did the thermostat bypass.
