The 9-way trailer socket pick-up connector (C1481), in addition to the standard 7-way trailer lighting, has wiring for -

Cavity 6 - Permanent (fused) 12V - on a Purple/Brown trace (PN) wire

Cavity 7 - Reversing lights - on a Green/Brown trace (GN) wire





All the wire colours in the trailer socket pick-up connector (C1481) are as follows -

Cavity 1 - Green/Red trace (GR) - LH Indicators

Cavity 2 - Red/Black trace (RB) - LH Tail Lights

Cavity 3 - Green/White trace (GW) - RH Indicators

Cavity 4 - Red/Orange trace (RO) - RH Tail Lights

Cavity 5 - Green/Purple trace (GP) - Brake Lights (taken from RH Brake Light circuit)

Cavity 6 - Purple/Brown trace (PN) - Permanent Live (used for 12S socket in Europe)

Cavity 7 - Green/Brown trace (GN) - Reverse Lights (used for 12S socket in Europe)

Cavity 8 - Red/Yellow trace (RY) - Rear Fog Lights

Cavity 9 - Black (B) - Earth
