DI ABS Questions
#23
just wanted to put an update for everyone, I decided (after I did all the schematic research on the ABS system) to re install the ABS fuse under the dash and leave the ABS fuse under the hood removed, I then reset my trip and today on my way home from the casino I noticed at around 125 miles my CEL went off! I turned off the truck to make sure it didnt burn out the bulb and it still works so my problem is solved. Pretty good night won about $500 from the casino and had a major bother with the truck go away!!!!

ABS isn't always greatest
If your problem is a sensor, the light stays on all the time. I had a bear with mine a couple of years ago--had two that had gone bad. Keep your eyes open for someone parting out an old car. I picked up all the sensors for about $100.
Its worth replacing, as the control is better with a functioning ABS than without one. When I go offroad, I just pull the fuse to lesson the issue.

no problem any more! I have been meaning to hook up my aftermarket alarm to the factory LED but then decided since I am going custom with the truck I would install my blue LED in its place, while I was back there I removed the ABS bulb so no more lights on the dash, and I couldn't be more happy!!!
