If the transmission is mounted on the passenger side of the car it rotates counterclockwise. so both older civics and accords. Honda now has joined the rest of the car would and mounts the tranny on the drivers side and rotates clockwise.

oh yeah I agree, I just mentioned the jet engines as an interesting british side note.

I have seen those in older Honda's and I was not aware that they spun counterclockwise.

That is interesting and I never knew the jet engine was technically a internal combustion engine.
