Why would you want it gone?

With out it I wouldn't go very far in sand......without the traction control if one tire losses traction you'll dig a 3-4 foot deap trench and be 'hella' stuck.

Well you have two options. First you can crawl under the truck, lock the CDL then start the engine. This will disable the TC and ABS. Second, you can follow this guys write-up on making a manual switch for the TC.

In sand you need your momentum, with the abs kicking in it actually slows you down. I have actually had the car stop because all 4 tires started spinning.

You need to learn how to drive in the sand.
What size tires are you running and at what air pressure.
I have run the dunes at Pismo for years and the last thing any of us wanted to do was to cut traction to our tires..
I got to tell you, you are way off on the direction you are wanting to go.
