Disc2 Still Running Rough ???

P030X is misfire on cylinder X. The P0300 is just general misfire code. So you have an issue with 8 specifically. New coils you say? I would swap a plug and wire from a different cylinder, see if the problem follows. If so. Easy fix.
Driving while misfiring can destroy the cats.
1174 and 1171 are lean running, sometimes from intake leak. Sometimes Maf I've read.
Are you handy. Can you start trouble shooting this yourself?
I had a misfire that was simply a plug wire touching a SAI tube. Don't discount the simple.

Hi guys,
I'm more handy than most girls. I helped my brother with the rebuild, at least as much as I could. I actually did the spark plug change before taking it to the shop. I can do things at that level. I bought a MAF which I still have, and I might put that on, but I'm not sure it actually needs that.
I know the translations of these codes, and I've typed and done tons of reading on these searches on these codes. Often people are getting these codes together, but I haven't found one thread where the person comes back and says what they did to fix the problem. I totally can't afford a new car, so I have to figure this out.
I'm going to drive the car to work today, certain it will throw a code (or five) again because it always starts with the ABS light going on and off then deteriorates. I read some thread that said the ABS is related to vacuum. I read one that said it would come on because the truck thinks it's on a rough-road-condition (because it's jumpy from an occasional misfire). The occasional misfire, however, goes nuts in about 50 more miles. I cannot for the life of me figure out why taking the upper intake off helps, but there is something that is getting disturbed when the indie shop does that. I am $1300 into this, and don't want to face the fact that the general consensus of everyone around me (that Rovers constantly break and it should be sold) could be true.
I would think the shop would have checked the spark and all of that seeing as they replaced the coil, but who knows?

P.S. In the 4000 miles since the new rebuild, there was a slight coolant loss, about three cups or so (I know because it wasn't quite a one quart mixing cup to fill, haha).
Oh and there is a small oil leak from the bottom seal. It doesn't happen all the time though. I'm wondering if that oil is messing up some sensor or something. I bought some stuff to clean that.
Thanks everyone.
