If you have the 3 amigos because of a shuttle valve switch failure, the ABS will still work but the deceleration threshold is increased. this is one way to tell that you do have shuttle valve switch issues rather than wheel speed sensor faults.

Just a come back to this post, if the trio is on, you, there is no grey area, you either have ABS or not, there is no limited ABS function. Depending on the combination of ABS codes your ECU might have on will determine if the ETC works, and better then 90% of the time the ETC and Hill Decent are out of operation.
If off road with the trio on, if the ETC is working, you will hear it clicking and see the ETC flashing as it works.

I just confermed this with Urban Panzer, when the 3 amigos are on you will have limited ABS and no traction control.

Thanks for the information. Is that only on the 03 qnd 04's or all D2s?
