Default Disco II Power Issues

Hi,
My first post...
I have a 2005 Disco II (post facelift), automatic I bought the vehicle about 3 months ago from a local dealer, I have had several issues with this vehicle but most have been ironed out barring one.

When in low revs there is almost no power, for example, I have a steepish driveway and when reversing out the vehicle revs up to 1000 rpm and simply stays put. I have to shift into low range to get out.

When pulling away from any stopped position the revs take forever to climb, once they hit 2500 there is plenty power an then everything goes fine.

The guys I bought the vehicle from have checked the following:
1. Fuel pressure
2. Turbo boost pressure
3. Airflow meter
4. Throttle track
5. Compression
6. AAP sensor
7. Manifold pressure sensor
8. Injector clearances
9. Engine timing

These items are (they say) are fine...
Anyone have an opinion? Any help would be most appreciated

Cheers
Brent

Any codes?

Transmission issues, like low fluid or old fluid? Or torque converter problems?

Air filter restricted?

Fuel filter?

Have you tried a different brand of fuel? My Sprinter ran like crap on cheap fuel and like a rapped ape on good fuel.
My Duramax didn't care.
Was it like this from the very beginning or did it just start?

Been like this from the start, transmission fuids checked, AND air and fuel filters replaced, I'm starting to incline towards the torque converted being problematic. Can anyone confiorm that this could be the problem?
