So I've got an idea. Call me crazy, call me whatever... but as an engineering student here at Virginia Tech, I think it's... remotely possible. No pun intended.

Here's the idea:
My 2004 Disco has the "Follow Me Home" feature turned on. So when I hold the lock button down in the remote, the headlights will stay on for 30 seconds or so. What I don't want is to get another remote. I want to be able to use the just the key with the built in buttons on it.

So what would happen is, when you held down the lock button to turn on the "Folllow Me Home" lights, that would send a signal to a remote start box, in turn... remotely starting the car.

Doesn't sound too complicated ehh? What do you think?
