Happy Thanksgiving Guys ,I have a question,I organized complete upper gasket set I thought and it’s from a well known company and when I received it it didn’t come wya plenum gasket even though the Picture showed it and it didn’t come with the o-ring 2 I believe I need for the lower intake manifold gasket o- ring do I need these 2 items.Excactlly it says upper intake gasket and o- rings 2 count water connecting lower intake gasket. What are these 2 parts I need?Does anyone know what I am talking about because I understand that I cannot do the job without them!part # ‘s please help thanks
Honestly, I've never replaced those o-rings or the plenum gasket. I do give the plenum gasket a VERY thin coat of RTV on both sides each time. Never had an issue.
That said, o rings are like a buck a piece or less. Just go match them at the local parts store and call it good if you're worried about it.

Dear sirs, revering to the (2) o-rings for the water pipes to the lower intake gasket Does Any one out There have a pitchers of the location of the(2) rings via the engine if you could point me in the right direction,Most apparently thank you very much I hope I can return the favor someday Yours truly Mike 53
You only need two o-rings. Follow the line from the firewall (heater core) to the block, you'll find a hard pipe that has a 10mm nut that gets bolted to the lower intake manifold -- that has an o-ring. The second is the hard pipe that jets up between the alternator and the AC compressor which has 3 10mm bolts holding it to the front of the intake manifold.
Most auto parts stores carry an o-ring "kit" which has different sizes, just get one of those and install the right size and bolt them on -- you'll be fine!
