I have this thing pulled off my truck because condensation has built up in it since I washed it this past weekend. Has anyone separated the lens to clean it from the inside out? It looks like the seal has seperated on the top and is the cause of my problems so I am going to message the man whom I purchased it from. I'd like to get behind the main lens but I'm not seeing an easy way. Also I have a Turtle Wax restoration kit, which I used on it before with only minor results to the outside as this is not where the oxidation and film is laying

You can. If you do, go over to one of the modifications sections (cant remember which one) and retrofit HID projectors. I did mine and it turned out awesome! But be warned; buy quality projectors and aim them carefully.

 

I found the thread and indeed I would have to heat up the HL assembly in the oven, remove the entire lens and re-glue it back into place. I will save this project for another time but thanks for pointing me to that thread. I know what I need to do now
