Been quite some time since I we spoke

 

Afraid not for several years at this point. I heard rumblings of some health issues, but don't know anything definitive.

 

I tried calling DiscoMike this morning to no avail. His number is no longer in service.

 

He had had health issues for some time. I seem to recall reading on this forum or possibly another, that he passed away a year or two back.

 

Disco Mike last posted in this forum in August 2015, eight years ago yesterday in fact.

At the risk of appearing morbid, I have searched online for an obituary a few times, including just now. No hits, but not everyone has an obituary published.

I too recall hearing he had health problems, which may have kept him from working and freed up time for him to be a prolific keyboard jockey here and in other Rover forums.

 

Last time him and I spoke on the phone he was upbeat and happy but in some sort of living facility. He said his health was deteriorating and was having a hard time remembering D2 specifics. I could tell it really bothered him. At that point I decided not to "pester" him. Hoped to see him posting here or on another site.

 

I also recall reading that he had passed a few years ago.

 

He died.
