Default Discovery Head Gasket Parts Kit Info
Hello

Yesterday I was working on installing my engine heads
and I found some parts on my head gasket kit.

I took some picturs & I downloaded some.
can you guy's tell me what are these rings are for?

Valve stem
Seals if not mistaken

x2 on valve stem seals. Probably worth replacing. I have had a slow oil leak into cylinder 7 that I think is from a bad one of these. Wish I had replaced it when doing the heads...

I tought were for the push rod valves.

They go around the valve stems to Prevent oil seepage into the cylinder. The push rods do not seal that way.
