Hi there,

I can't get in.
And, even those people from AMA(Roadside Assistant), can't do anything and now i have no choice and send it to the LAND ROVER SHOP, and just to get a key and get in...
cost me: $700..and now am planning to sell it, coz i dont have money to get it when it done by nextweek.
Thank you for all your advise.

There is a linkage that connects at the outer door handle. Straight piece of linkage that comes up vertically and connects to the handle. The lower part connects to the mechanism/actuator has a small white fitting that is threaded.
Detach the linkage at the handle and turn this linkage clockwise/tightening to take up the slack, a few revolutions at a time. Re attach and test again. Keep going until it opens as it should.

I didn’t want to buy a new piece so I epoxied a zip tie to the top of the threads to act as a stop. Once that dried, I added epoxy to the threads of the rod and inserted it in the plastic piece. Door opens without issue now!!!
Thanks all. Made the task easier. My only contribution would be that the clip is much easier to rotate off and back on if the outer door handle is propped in the open position. Doing so rotates the clip outward making it easier to gently pry it off.
