Driveshaft replacement without jacking?
Can confirm, just finished this and wow... so much easier to replace than any other driveshaft I've replaced in the past. I soaked the bolts in PB blaster the the night before, which made removal super easy. I'm sure that helped a bit. New driveshaft all greased up and runs like a dream.
I'm looking to replace my 2004's front driveshaft as well. Who is the go to these days for a proper replacement?
I'm leaning towards these guys... Coil Sprung ? Drive Shafts | GBR Utah
Will probably just get them to re-manufacture my front drive shaft since it's an 04. Also thinking about doing the roto-flex conversion for the rear as that is a common failure on these trucks.
