Land Rover Disco II Driveshaft replacement
So I bought a replacement front driveshaft for my 04 Discovery and I was reading through The threads on how to do it and I read a few different how tos. It’s factory and the place I bought from said that it does not need grease or anything done to it. Just take the old one out and put the new one and reuse the bolts. Is this true and if so is there a video or link to show the steps to removing it.

It's just held on by bolts. There's nothing complex about a factory replacement assuming no accident damage or aftermarket lift.
Caveats include that you tend to be directly below the heavy shaft when it drops. Ouch! Plan ahead for that last bolt.
It takes 2 wrenches (1 on each side of each nut/bolt) that you are unbolting. One does the unscrewing and the other holds either the nut or bolt in place so that you aren't just turning and turning without making any progress unscrewing.
Preferred replacement front drive shafts have multiple zerk fittings for greasing the u-joints inside the drive shaft couplings. Fresh and full grease in those fittings seems to improve the lifespan of front driveshafts.
Reaching all of the nuts/bolts is easier when you can rotate the driveshaft by hand, so be sure to chock block your tires so your Disco 2 doesn't roll on top of you while it is in Neutral. 1 front wheel will need to be lifted into the air via a jack (take jackstand safety precautions, etc.).

Front bolts on the shaft require two 9/16 open end wrenches, back will just require one as it actually will keep the bolts in place. If you keep the vehicle on the ground no jack stands will be required as all four wheels are still on it. You can loosen the bolts you can reach, then climb out, push it forward or backwards until you've exposed the other bolts, then with the D2 chalked remove the shaft, install is the opposite of the removal, and if you get a new shaft with zerk fittings make sure to grease it fully.
