Default Dropping the sump..any tips?

I have an 02 disco with the intermittent coolant leak....leaks when it's cold, nothing when warmed up or on warm days. Pressure test revealed a leak in the timing cover gasket.
I've followed threads on this forum and the RAVE manual and only need to drop the sump now. I have four bolts left holding it on and wondered if anybody had any tips for dropping it down. I know I have to raise the vehicle with the jack to allow for clearance over the front axle. Question is how heavy is the sump, it looks pretty heavy. I was going to try and support it on a trolley jack at the rear and slowly lower and push back whilst holding the front.
Is it a one man job or will I need extra help. The truck is parked up on blocks and so not that high off the ground.
Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are talking about your oil pan, it weighs no more than 5 pounds.

ok, thanks
It looked like quite a solid chunk of steel. Having got this far I wanted to make sure I didn't **** it up and add to my troubles.

yeah, it isn't like an old Cadillac transmission. You can drop it and hold it.

Drain the oil that hasn't already leaked out first, that'll make it lighter.

It is cast aluminum...a 6 pack of beer weights more.

if youre taking it all the way out, remove the drag link end from the rear of the left wheel knuckle, makes it alot easier to get the pan out

sounds fairly easy then.
I'll clamber under it this week and release the final four bolts. Have already drained as much oil out as possible.
Thanks for the info.

Put jack stands under the frame and allow the front axle to drop to give yourself more room to move the oil pan around.
