JUP, Easy on easy off.

Learned my lesson, the stock lug wrench still has a cap stuck in it.

Waw, nice one! I think I can easily remove the nuts of my wheel. Thanks for the information and idea of how to remove it.

When I used 1-1/8", it just rounded the points of the lug nut decorative cover on about 5 of them. Really frustrating! Where can I get the RRC solid lug nuts?

hmm..

I went into autozone looking for the right socket.

Took one outside and it was just a little too big or too small... Cant remember, so I got the next size up or down and just bought it, thinking it has to fit.

Well it didn't I couldn't find a metric size to fit it so I went with 1-1/8

I have put more than enough force on it to know that it aint gonna round off. It seems like a perfect match

just buy steel wheels and solve it for ever with the ability to change axles w/o taking wheels off on trail

Just wanted to add my 2 cents here
I grease the lug nuts once a year but do torque them at 110 Ft/Lb. Never had a problem coming loose.
I have two sets of wheels: winter with Accapellita tires and summer with POS tires so I change the wheeles twice a year.
My socket of choice is 1-1/16 six points
I carry a 36" braker bar to help the other disco drivers with a flat.

FYI: if after removing the lugnuts the rim is stuck solid on the hub, put the nuts back but 2 turn loose, lower the car and drive forward then back a few yards. When you hit the brakes, the rim comes loose.

Of course there is a difference between the DI and DII lug nut sizes. I don't know what size the DII's are, but the DI is 1 1/16.
