20/50 scares the crap out of me jfall. Can the oil pump handle that? Used it in a 250k Honda just to keep oil in it for more than 3 days.. took 6 months for it to kill the oil pump.

Of it gets noticeably loud I'll tear the pan off and replace the brearings. If yours went 50k that way.. I'll be fine.

Keep 15w40 in there and just swap the bearings if they get bad like you said. Its the best thing you can do.

i'd have to agree if it has oil pressure and good temps. just drive it.
