Default Entire tail light housing not working

I have an 02. One of the two top tail light bulbs were out so I removed the housing to replace them. Attempted to replace them with LED bulbs. After swapping bulbs, when I tested it none of the lights worked. I checked the fuse (I believe 11) and it was fine. I also thing the tag light is on that fuse and currently working.

The connection looks fine and, as far as I can see, the wiring isn’t corroded. Before I go buy a new tail light (I’m assuming the board is bad?), are there any other ideas? I’m not insanely mechanically inclined, but like to think I could change a bulb

Thanks.

This advice might be completely out to lunch but if it was me, I’d try removing the LED’s and installing the correct bulbs and see where I was at.

Sorry forgot to mention, when the assembly didn’t work with the LED bulbs I removed them and put the old bulbs back in and still didn’t work. My thought is the LED possibly blew the board? Just figured I’d ask if that makes sense before I buy a new tail light

Do you have a multimeter to check the circuits?

Diagnose, diagnose, diagnose; don't just throw parts at a problem.

Are you sure the old bulbs are ok?

To follow up, I’m a moron and it was the bulbs. A bulb that was previously working went out in the process somehow. If anyones curious the tail light bulbs are 12v5w

Thanks all
