I absolutely hate messing with those things!! I’ve used anti-seize, bolts, Ford Studs, and they’ll still break on ya. Makes a 10min job turn into a mess!

OMG that's so true! Those studs fall into the category of "Not IF they will break, but WHEN they will". It seems for every 1 time I get lucky and can remove all 6 nuts, I get kicked in the A$$ on the next truck I do. Lets hope zuke has better luck.

My 05 Jeep Wrangler constantly broke the exhaust studs, so I modified em by drilling them out to 5/16 bolts and used anti-seize and lock washers. I wish I could modify the LR D2 the same, but the only way I found to get it fixed 100% is pull the entire manifold, place it in a vise and soak it drill, or twist the broken studs out which you can’t do while it’s mounted on the D2 due to space limits.
