Default Extra capcity D2 oil filter, stock relief psi?

Reading some threads floating on here from various times... there was concern that the Purolator L40316 high capacity filter had the incorrect relief valve pressure for a D2. Then I found a reference to a Mann #w950-7 filter but the interwebs is shy on details for that part.

Where any high capacity oil filters that retained stock pressure recommendations ever found?

PS. What is the stock D2 oil filter relief pressure? I usually use the PH16 Fram as it came up listed on the Autozone/Advance Auto yadda yadda internet lists as stock replacement, which states its set for 12psi. I was using mobile 1 filters until I had one of the plastic installation/removal nuts snap off, resulting in me having to cut the filter off after the stab a screwdriver and turn method resulted in just sheering the cheap pos in half making for quite the messy oil change.

Last Friday I was reading about this in old threads. The L40316 had a relief around 34psi, the L40317 is around 7-8 psi, which is close to the stock spec.

Another filter to look at is the PL30001. Not as big as the ones above.

The Wix 51515 does appear to have a appropriate bypass psi at 8-11 psi.

But I haven't tried it; I run the M1.

Also, here's my long post explaining my concerns about higher bypass valve pressures.

funny that this came up today. i'm planning to take the disco on a trip for thanksgiving, so i brought it in to the shop to service it. my tech pulled off a mann, which tells me i must of had it in inventory at the time. the majority of our filter vendor's filters are made by purolator, the rest by mann (generally good filters and we haven't had any problems). i made a weak atempt at getting the mann from another vendor, and then just went with the off the shelf 3600. it's what the book recommended.
