Default First time driving in snow, TC light normal?

I had my left front Hub Bearing Assembly replaced last month and since then, when driving in the snow and braking, the TC light comes on. Is this normal? Also, the brake pedal vibrates and there is a noise, creaking like in the front left wheel area. Is this normal or should I take it back to have it looked at? It brakes just fine, just my first time driving my Disco 03 in the snow. thanks!

Take it back to whoever did the repair and have them fix it.

The tc light might come on while driving in snow, occasionally, if you are losing traction. Shouldn't come on while breaking.

Default yes i did

Yes it appears as though I answered my own question, but as a first time owner of a Land Rover, having little knowledge of the technical aspects of how the car works and having just purchased it in July of last summer and knowing there are so many knowledgeable individuals on this forum who are willing to respectfully help a lady out, I thought I would post because why spend time taking it back if I don't have to?

The TC light did only come on when braking in snow.

Only the ABS light should be coming on when braking.

The TC light will come on if spinning a tire or two while accelerating, but not when braking.

The noise and feel you describe sounds like the ABS working if stopping on a slippery surface, but NO lights should come on during a stop.

Thanks! I will call them and ask about the TC light and pay more attention to when it actually comes on. We have had less snow than usual here in Ohio, so I don't see it on a regular basis. You guys and gals are the best! Thanks for your expertise.

The feeling in the brake peddle and that noise are the ABS working. The ABS will come on in the snow when breaking harder coming to a stop. I am in NH and know the snow well in my Disco. The reason it sounds like the noise is coming from the front-left is most likely because thats where you can hear it most distinctly, not because of a bad repair.

I am sure that when you were breaking it was the ABS light coming on and not the TC (they look similar and you may not have had a good glance while it was on?). Just tossing out ideas to help clear things up.

Hope you figure things out.
