flashing check engine light means NO driving right? I did have to drive it home from work I was thinkin maybe I should jeep it tomorrow. It will stay constantly lit for a few minutes after cranking(maybe 5 miles) then starts flashing. Bad news for sure....

Steady on, get it fixed as soon as you can
Flashing, Park it do not drive, it only flashes if something wrong is bad that will lead to major problems, also sometims it is emmisions.
I would not drive it until i got it scaned, before you take it to dealer try renting a auto zone scanner and give it a try, if it is not a test book problem it will read it, (maybe what year?0

I already had the good fortune of getting an obd II scanner from atlantic british. The codes I'm bgetting say:
No 1 cylinder misfire,
Misfire that could damage catalyst? excessive emissions
and an ever present faulty o2 sensor

Fix your misfire codes first. PO301, check the Ig wire to #1 plug. If it is all corroded, replace plug and wire.

I replaced all wires and plugs today. I also installed a B&B cold air intake, looks good. I used my scanner to erase the codes. I drove it around for a while and it hasn't thrown a code yet. It may just need more time to go through its "cycle" . It's runnin' very smooth now and the borla exhaust with the intake has really kicked it up a shot!
