Ok, I just changed the calipers and pads. The left rotor was damaged from the heat of the bad caliper, so I got a new left rotor. I did notice any play with the hub assembly, so I am assuming it is still in good condition. I will keep my eye on it.

I took the car for a ride to "seat" the brakes in and notice a little smoke when I returned and parked the car. I might have had a little residue on the new rotor. Is this normal?

If you did not clean the new rotor with brake cleaner then yes, the oil that they coat them with to keep them from rusting will burn off.
