Hey, after you've double checked everything, if it still turns out to be your actuator then shoot me a PM. I've got a few I'll sell cheap, just tell me which door and I'll get you a price.

 

We came back from an errand and the actuator worked to open the door. It made the oddest whining noise, like a loud slow gear whining. It is still locking the door. Not sure if anybody had had that experience.

Once it warms up here in Chicago I will take a closer look.
