Default Fuel Vapor Codes

Climbed under my Disco yesterday to verify some things before buying parts to alleviate some codes. I have a 2000 Discovery and it doesn't have the leak detection pump at the canister like to 03-04's do but I'm getting the P1451 code for it. Also, I've noticed once the Disco gets about half a tank of gas it doesn't want to take anymore; could this code be for a plugged/bad charcoal canister not allowing fuel vapors back up to the purge solenoid? I did replace the purge solenoid yesterday because it wasn't operating correctly.

Our trucks have badly designed fill necks. For me it depends on where I'm filling up. Some pumps are fine, some - like my local station - the spout needs to be pulled half way out of the truck to fill well, and even then I need to slow the fill rate, then it fills full.

This may not be your refuelling issue, but this was mine.

I replaced the vapor canister today and started the truck up and it didn't lag like before; I'm hoping it solves the issues but won't know until Friday when I go to fill up. The old canister was a bit heavier then the new one and the filter media to fresh air inlet looked plugged.
