Just from looking at the headers on these things, that's the first performance mod that I would do, those things look very restrictive.

Car manufactures have emissions to worry about, which is why some engines can be easily chipped, but you will not get more power AND better MPG's, that is an oxymoron. With the few exceptions on turbo cars that is.

This. You'd think my r6 that is a track bike would come with this "chip" if it did anything.

But guess what there are things out there that improve engine power or effeciency via maps

There are things that can do it, just not for $69.

If it's less than $300, it probably doesn't do anything. My tune was $700, these don't come cheap.
