Going from TF HD to MD???
I have had the TF HD springs on my '04 for a little over a year, but the driveshaft vibrations from no additional weight are killing me and the driveshafts. I say SHAFTS bc I've been through 3 since adding the lift.
I'm currently at 22-1/8" on the front and 21-1/2" in the rear with the HD kit.
I ordered an identical bumper that Yoops has on his trek from RTE back in November and they say I should have it in the next couple weeks, but I'm starting to think it won't weigh enough to fix my vibes.
I saw RoversNorth has a decent deal on the TF MD springs so I'm wondering if I should go that route? It's my DD now and life has me spending the majority of my time on the interstate. Any thoughts?

Had a similar problem with the drive shafts on an '03 until I added spacers.
Do you have these? They look like this and you can get them at any vendor > http://www.roversnorth.com/ProductDe...e=0&eq=&key=it
I also found the GKN HD U-joints w/ metal caps TVC100010G lasted longer > RovahFarm for all your new Land Rover Parts and Accessories

I don't have the spacer you mentioned but I've thought about it. My concern is the angle on my uj's is too harsh from the lift and if I add the spacer would that not make the pitch even worse? Are you running the TF HD as well?
I am running the Terra Firma 2" MD set-up on a SE7. This is with a full steel bumper and 12K winch. The MD rides nice.
I do have a slight vibration issue which I have been chasing since installing the lift. Tried re-balancing both front and rear drive shafts and wheels... as well as adding the Proline wheel spacer. They worked to dampen down the vibration, but here is still some between 50 to 60 mph per hour.
I am checking the engine/transmission mounts and transfer case/transmission bearings next. However, the vibration only occurs at a certain speed which is indicating it is some sort of a balance issue somewhere.
The Proline driveline spacer was used to prevent the driveshaft spline from over-extending. It was a safety measure, especially when off-roading. However, I am not convinced it may be needed. I tried using with and without it, however, the slight high speed vibration still exists. I guess I will keep the trial and error process going. Will keep you posted if I find any other ideas to fix it.

I sold this truck or I would show you a pic. But I was running the TF HD's, with the spacers and proper U joints made things work. The spacers come in different sizes, but I only needed the standard 15mm. For as little as they cost it was worth the try. You could probably make these for about $20 or less for 2 if you get the material from onlinemetals.com
The purpose of the spacer is to keep the drive shaft in normal length after the lift and that's what reduces the bind on the joints/yoke. Here I'll let this guy explain it
