Default Had a misfire, checked plug #4

Had a P0301 and P0304, pulled wire off plug #4, end of wire broke off and plug has build up. I am currently using STI 8mm for past 4 years and Denso plugs since October 2015. Saw Kingsborne 8mm for $35 shipped, another set of STI 8mm for as low as $62 and Magnecor 8mm for $110 shipped. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on getting the kingsborne 8mm, stay with STI or try something else?

Funny, my sti wires did the same thing, number 4 as well. Had the misfire and pulled the boot off and everything inside the boot ripped out. I ended going with magnecor 8mm mainly because I had them on my last d2 and I could instantly tell a huge difference. Can't speak for the kingsborne since I've never used them.

Call STI.

Several years ago I had a similar problem with my number 6 wire. STI sent a new one right away, free of charge.

I will call, I have a couple worries, 1- they are 2 years outside their 2 year warranty and if it happened to one wire, others may be affected.

Thanks. I will admit, I am leaning towards the Magnecor Wires, I had them on my D1 and had no issues whatsoever... I will take @mln01 advice and reach out to STI to see what they can do for me if anything. I will need to verify the other 7 wires to see if the issue is present as well.
