Default Had my ABS read and this is it

So I went to a local shop and has my ABS read. He claims to specialize in European Motors and has worked on MANY land rovers. He read my ABS for me and he said it is not a sensor but is not reading the module. My ABS itself does work but that is it. He said it could be a blown fuse (which I have not found) or a bad ground or broken wire. This car was left in the woods for about a year before I pulled it out. I when I opened the hood, there must have been about 6 mice that scattered. I pulled numerous nests out of the engine and vents. I myself am leaning towards a chewed wire. I"m not sure where to beging looking for this.

Are there any suggestions?

Here is what the print out he gave me says:

CODE009:
[62, 65, 4,be]
Please refer to relevant technical manual

Also have:

CODE001:
Rough road signal implausible
He told me this was ok, it mean that the vehicle detected rough roads and automaticly changes modes...

Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated. The LR has been a learning cure. All my experiance has been on classic cars.

rough road is not an ABS code. i can't decipher what those codes are. ABS codes should look like this. http://www.rswsolutions.com/index.ph...d=38&Itemid=65

the rough road could be a short yes.

do you have the 3 amigos lit up? is you CEL on?

3 amigos are lit up...not sure what CEL is....If it were a short going to one of the sensors then it would come back that it was a sensor I guess.

Sorry, as I paid reread the print out, those were not codes, those were the code number as in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6....as there were a total of 9 (the others being my O2 sensor issues)

CEL = Check Engine Light

he read your ODB2 CEL codes. Not your ABS codes.

get yourself an ODB2 reader. You can get one for $25 on ebay or amazon.

Your ABS codes can be read by an RSW Solutions Amigo. You can rent them from certain people on the forum or you can find used ones for sale for $100 or you can buy a new one for $200. If you plan on holding on to your truck for any amount of time it will be a good investment to have both in hand.

My 2004 has the same thing but it looks like the wiring needs replaced due to too much resistance. Everything else has already been reniewed. Maddening or what?
Kato.

I think this guy couldn't read it and didn't want to tell me after he said he could. I was reluctant when he said the codes do not need to be reset as they will reset themselves.

Found another guy who agreed they will not reset themselves and he can do it for me if thats the issue and won't charge me. We will see on Monday.
