Made a little more progress last night, wanted to shore up the sides of the rear bumper so when it hits a rock or stump or even a body I don't want it moving soooo I slapped these together.. really not much to look at but they will do. I used 2"x2"x3/16 tubing and grade 8 hardware

Then I was looking for my plates I was gonna use to move the stock cross member down about an inch or 2 and couldn't find them, so I had some shiz laying around the shop and made some quick spacers... ended up with about an inch and a half. I also noticed most of the factory welds were cracked on the member so I ground them all down and re-welded them... with a fresh coat of enamel ...

Got my steering dampener, Lucky 8 spacers, isolation rings, hardware, and of course the springs.
Heres a quick pic of their spacers

Very well machined, quality is superb.

Heres a side by side on the Terrafirma springs
On the left is the Terrafirma D2 3" lift spring Lucky 8 offers, and on the right is the tester spring, which is much more robust and obviously taller.

I know that I sound like a broken record and I swear I don't work for these guys lol but, if your needing parts and have questions then call these guys, not only has Justin worked with me getting the right parts, but he's even taken time on a SATURDAY ya you heard me right, to answer questions I had. Now that's unheard of in pretty much any retail business. Ive owned my own business for about 13 years, and I can tell you first hand on the customer side of things that means a lot. You don't get service like that from a company just out to take your $$$$. You live it, breath it, and the customer always comes first. I find that with these guys and I wont shop anywhere else for Rover parts unless they cant get me what I need period.

Ok back to the build

Heres a before and after of the drivers side that I did last night.
Whats installed is the taller springs Lucky 8 send me up front with the spacer, and the 3" lift spring in the rear.

Berfore... just the 3" springs in

Tell me what you guys think..... I love it. But Justin thinks the nose is up, what say you?

Heres the steering dampener next to the old one.... huge difference I'd say.

It's a little up in the front but I'd leave it. It'll level out after winch, lights, etc.

Are those the 4.5 inch springs L8 sells?

that's true too in the first picture you don't have the rear bumper on, in the second you do.

No their D1 2" lift springs...

I think it will settle and come down with bumper and winch too.... I haven't driven her since I started the work so I would imagine it will.
