I'm going to change to fuel filter and let you all know if that works or not. It's only that initial start thats hard. All starts after are normal.

Just wanted to update my hard start problem. I replaced the fuel filter and now everything is back to normal. It was a real PITA to get off!!!! Thanks to everyone that chimed in with advice. This is a great board!

Glad to here it was a $15 fix, I like those kind of fixes.
Now here is a tip for you, I replace my fuel filter once a year and coat the threads with anti-seize when I put it back together. It is a cheap and easy fix as long as the threads dont get to rusty.
That is why I replace it once a year, it gets road salt, water and dirt all over it so it will rust like the Titanic if you dont stay on top of it.
