The 3 Amigo's can wait, fix the check engine light, AutoZone can read the codes for you, you then post them on here and we help you.
Get that taken care of first.
Are your brakes fixed yet? No? Tax return.
Fluids and filters, those all changed yet? No? Tax return.
How are the tires? Alignment? Tax return.
Belt, hoses? Tax return.
You must get the truck in safe reliable condition before you buy the fun stuff.
Yes the Hawkeye or whatever would be a great tool to have, but you are putting the cart before the horse.
If you spend all of your tax return on a scanner to read codes but you cant afford to fix it and its to broke to drive it what the hell good does that scanner do you?

Front propshaft has been replaced with new aftermarket shaft. Coolant flushed. Oil and filter changed with Rotella. New rotors/pads and new front calipers. New rotoflex kit and hardware (just need to install it). Brake system needs to be flushed properly and YOUR the one who told me to start with the SLABS, then do the master cylinder, then the wheels. I think you also said that you need a special computer to bleed the SLABS yes? Well this computer can do that I believe. Yes I ave a check engine light but part of it is due to a bad intake canister (which I have bypassed as a temporary measure) and the other two codes could be for the 02 sensors. Not a big deal and I want to get the brakes done first.

Ok, now we are getting somewhere.
If all you basically have left is the brake bleed and minor stuff then go for it.

oh and the diffs were flushed
the only other thing I could do is buy a brand new brake servo and wait on the computer, then pay DAP to bleed the entire brake system..... have to think about it though cause Im tired of paying for labor when i can do the work myself. Either way thanks for the tips.
