Default HD and TC lights...but I don't *think* I have a problem

I finally got all my codes cleared, all dash lights are off (but see below), and the truck runs great (even the engine tapping is gone...I didn't do anything to make it stop. It just did.) and everything works.

The hill decent and traction control lights are coming on every other time I turn the key switch to accessory. I turn the key back to off, turn it back to accessory, and they extinguish as they should. I start the truck and they never come on no matter if I drive 5 minutes or 4 hours (as I did twice this weekend).

Has anyone seen this? I'm making a big assumption here that I don't have an actual problem with those two amigos, but a wiring issue...but it is literally every other time I turn the key...or a switch issue. No other problems present themselves with the key, on, accessory, or start positions.

do you know what codes were on before they were cleared? it may give you a place to look.

Yes, the obvious one was bad ECU ground, but we (me and my mechanic) checked every ground wire associated with the ABS ECU and found everything to be solid...still could be something we are missing, so I haven't ruled that out...it is just so consistent on every other key switch. Ground issues are typically random.

I may swing back over today to have him scan it for me again just to see if there is something new.
