Default Head/Brake Light Issues

Okay, just doing a shake down after my off road adventure, and found some light issues. One the low beam headlights are not working. They worked before the trip and afterwards, we went to dinner, and then one went out now both are out. High Beams work fine.

Brake Lights: This apparently was happening before the trip, no one told me though. With the lights on, I depress the brake pedal, the 3rd brake light lights up and the main lights go dim. But when not depressed they shine bright, kinda like they are working backwards.

Fuse 10, inside fuse box, right hand low beam. The real low beam, not the 5 watt city light bulb.

Fuse 9, inside fuse box, left hand low beam.

Beyond that it is bulbs, wiring, switch, etc. All in the RAVE electrical manuals.

Page attached for brake lights, sounds like grounds disturbed, possibly trailer light connector in right rear corner of truck (inside behind cover), pehaps the sockets in the lamp housing.

Also, you may have just burned out your low beam, it happens. If that is the case, replace both head light s so you will have the same color and brightness from both sides.
For the 3rd. brake light, try cleaning out the light socket, water can get in there causing corision.

3rd brake light works, but when the lights are on, the L/R brake lights go dim when depressing the brake pedal. And get real bright when not depressed. Kinda like they are wired backwards.

Pull this connector and check: (see attached)

pin 1 = green white = turn signal

pin 2 = ground

pin 3 = red / black = tail light (or red / orange, depends on side of truck)

pin 4 = green / purple = brake

Or maybe some one installed incorrect bulbs and jammed them to fit.

Both fixed, somehow I blew both front headlights one right after the other. And the rear started working correctly after I took the bulbs out a re-installed them. Thanks for the help.
