Default Head resurfacing

Hi,Does any one out there know what it costs to have heads resurfaced on a 4.0 liter ?i called a couple fo Machine shops and they said they wouldn’t be able to give me a price tell they looked at them Iam trying to get a ball park figure?Iam assuming that they are warped from a over heat and before I put a new upper gasket kit in I want to have the heads resurfaced Does anyone know the going rate Iam sure some one out there has had this done.Thank you for any input would be appreciated thank you again 🙏

$200-$400 for complete job

It’s very possible to clean and check them for flatness yourself. You can get a gap tool and flat bar on amazon.

To have a shop do them should be 150 or so for both to clean them, and check for flatness.

I would recommend doing the valve seals, too.

All things considered, getting new heads from Abran is a very good option for longevity.
